Pure 220 Volt Electricity as Found in Your Wall Plug
All our units provide identical power as found in your normal plug circuits and you can run your fridge, gate motor and any other device without
any fear of damaging the device.
Unlike Modified Sine Wave Older or Inferior Power Backup Systems
True or Modified Sine Wave Power: Whats the Difference?
Standard electric power
Standard 220 volt electric power is a pure sine wave, this is what comes out of your normal wall socket and what all electric devices are designed to work
optimally with. This is especially important with 220 volt gate and door motors as they need a true electric supply to start with a heavy load.
Modified Electric Power
Modified electric power is what one finds coming out of most cheap inverters and UPS systems. 220 Volt electric motors are not designed to run on a modified sine wave and will normally not run in both directions ( eg. open and close a gate or door ).
Modified sine waves which allow a motor to turn or run, will cause the electric motor to operate at a higher temperature as the modified power supply is not as efficient as a pure sine wave power source. Modified Sine wave
that can run your fridge or freezer causes fridge or freezer motor to make excessive motor noise and become irritating to one.
This can lead to
Damage to your existing Electric Motors and Equipment in the long run
Use True Sine Wave Backup Electricity for Complete Peace of Mind
Advantages of True Sine Wave Electric Power UPS's
verse Modified Sine Wave UPS's
- All equipment within the power units rating will work as normal
- Far Superior starting for Electric Motors
- No noise with Audio and Video Equipment
- Cannot damage existing electric equipment
- Sine Wave Inverters are more efficient and your batteries last up to 30% longer
- Runs your fridge and freezer silently
- Can run existing 220 Volt Borehole Pumps
- Digital clocks work properly in power failures and don't gain or lose time
- More energy efficient than modified sine wave UPS's
- Can power plotters, hubs, routers and other sensitive electric equipment
- Light dimmers work properly
- Unnoticeable switch over to UPS mode with power failures
Backup Power Units output is what it is claimed to be
You will often see with modified sinewave equipment that they have a different VA and Watt Rating, even though in theory a Volt ( V ) and a Amp ( A ) multiplied together
should give you output in Watts. IE. a 600 VA UPS unit should be identical to a unit with a 600 Watt output.
This is due to the fact that modified sine wave units are not as efficient at powering your household appliances and hence must use more power to get the electrical appliance to
do the same work
All our power backup units are True Sine Wave not Modified
- All your household electrical equipment is designed to work on True Sine Wave electricity not modified sine wave backup power
